Mr. Jackway first began his career in the financial services industry as an independent insurance agent in 1977. He has earned the professional designations from The American College, Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania of Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and Chartered Advisor for Senior Living (CASL™).
The CLU program provides insight into the life insurance business, its importance to the economy, its operation and distribution systems. The ChFC program focuses on the comprehensive financial planning process as an organized way to collect and analyze information on a client's total financial situation; to identify and establish specific financial goals; and to formulate, implement, and monitor a comprehensive plan to achieve those goals. The CASL™ program is considered one of the most comprehensive curriculums available that addresses the unique financial needs of seniors. A Chartered Advisor for Senior Living can provide advice on a broad range of financial topics including health insurance, long term care financing, pension planning, trusts, Medicare and Medicaid supplemental planning, financial and estate planning, and more.
Mr. Jackway offers service in the following areas of financial planning; asset accumulation, estate planning, tax reduction strategies, business succession planning, and retirement planning. His clientele consists of individual retirees, business, legal and medical professionals as well as private and public safety pension funds.
In addition to his career, Bob has been an active member within his community. For the more than 30 years in which he and his family have resided in the Village of Rosemont, he has served as a member of the Rosemont Kiwanis Club, Rosemont Chamber of Commerce and as President of the Rosemont School Board.
